- Jeri Nielsen Petersen
- Born, reared and married in Salt Lake City, Utah
- Two brilliant children, a son and daughter, who gave us two equally smart grandbaby boys
- Living in Fort Worth, Texas
- Degree in journalism from Texas Christian University, Fort Worth
- Worked as reporter, photographer, editor and freelance writer for various local publications
- Serve at church in various volunteer capacities - have been a teacher, music chairman, pianist, organist
- Diagnosed with fibromyalgia after several months of unexplained widespread pain
- Spent the last 7 years researching fibromyalgia & chronic fatigue syndrome and chasing cures through various doctors, supplements and treatments
- Previously detested cooking, but have learned to enjoy the benefits of cooking and eating whole, fresh foods
- Now writing about what I’ve learned and how I’ve come to find peace in my situation through daily recognition of and gratitude for all that's great in my life
